Crude Sample PCR

Performing PCR direct from crude samples can be highly beneficial due to greatly reduced experimental time, cost and sample loss, particularly for high volume genotyping, transgene detection, knockout analysis or PCR-based clinical and forensic tests. A major problem however can be the presence of inhibitors to PCR which may lead to low sensitivity reactions, low yields or false positives.

PCRBIO HS Taq DNA Polymerase and PCRBIO Ultra Polymerase are designed to perform in demanding applications with high efficiency and improved tolerance to common inhibitors. Our advanced buffer and antibody-mediated hot start technology allows robust performance and high sensitivity across a wide range templates, including GC and AT-rich, together with easy reaction setup at room temperature. Furthermore, the convenient ready mix format, including the option of a red dye for direct gel loading, increases the speed and ease-of-use for successful PCR from crude samples.
