Shipping conditions
We ship our products in tightly sealed polystyrene boxes with gel ice packs that have been kept at -30 to -15°C for at least 72 hours prior to shipment. Our shipping and packing methods have been validated to ensure products meet our strict specifications and performance standards on arrival. Tests have shown that products shipped under these conditions will stay at 2°C to 8°C for a minimum of 48 hours and up to 120 hours depending on the size of packing box used.
Short term exposure to higher temperatures during shipping does not pose any risk to our enzymes. Our enzymes are shipped in specialised storage buffers that have been optimised for long term stability. We carry out rigorous stability trials and have determined there is no difference in stability and activity between enzymes that are shipped with gel ice packs compared to enzymes shipped on dry ice. When our products arrive we recommend storage at -30 to -15°C.
Shipping costs
- Shipping within the UK is £32 or free for orders over £200.
- Shipping within the USA is $55 or free for orders over $500.
- For orders outside of the UK and USA, we apply shipping charges depending on the region and size of shipping box used.
Shipping days
Generally, orders received before 12:00pm will be shipped on the same day provided the products are in stock. Our shipping days are usually Monday through to Thursday.
For orders outside of the UK and USA, the specific shipping day is determined by the length of time it takes to ship to a particular region, which will also depend on the courier used.
